Every year the LCQG donates a quilt to an organization within Lanark County to raffle for their cause.  The 2013 Charity Quilt was presentation to The Community Support Services within our area.

This year’s Bursery also donated by LCQG was awarded to Steven Ferguson of Smiths Falls Collegiate Institute.

Relay for Life Team 2010  –  We have a new captain for our Team!  The LCQG has entered a team for the past 5 years and would like to keep going strong.  Fourteen team members (8 guild member) and numerous friends and family walked 150 miles on Friday, June 11 raising over $6000, putting us into the BRONZE Category.  Thank you to all who walked, pledged, and supported us.  We are registered for next year and encourage more to join us.

The Canadian Cancer Society takes investing dollars seriously and puts them into areas that will have the biggest impact for the greatest number of people!  Won’t you join us and become a member of the Team?  Their goal is to raise $3500.  Leisue Days in Smiths Falls is once again donating an RV for our use.  Info at www.cancer.ca.
